Don't texture it in sketchup, you must texture it in 3ds max or blender, maya, but not in sketchup. I think, sketchup is bad choice for omsi modelling.But I don't want to dissuade you.

True Sketch-up + textures suck. I was just testing to see how it would look.

Sketchup has its downsides, but it works for me I know how to use it more than blender or Gmax for that manner.

Edit - I veered off into the CNG version...

slowly working on the interior seating.

I just did a little test to see if it would export correctly, I put it into a 3ds file format

SketchUp Entities processed:

14 Groups
131 Instances
25604 Faces
26 Images
353 Edges
1 Cameras
21 Materials
12 Textures

3DS Entities exported:

61700 Triangles
353 Edges
1 Cameras
21 Materials
12 Textures

^That stuff will get lowered....

It worked, but this wasn't the proper exporting done lol

REMEMBER THIS IS JUST A TEST......

This project is still alive, I was just getting annoyed with having to resize a screenshot of progress just for this forum plus my browser was not agreeing with this site lately...

Anyway for the latest update I posted it on the official OMSI forum
