There will be two Vienna add-ons: Vienna 1 & Vienna 2
"Vienna 1 - line 24A" replaces the currently available add-on on the market "Vienna - The high floor LU 200" and comes up with enhanced content on new low-entry bus NL 205 of Wiener Linien, new route of 24A as an additional map with completely redesigned Kagraner Platz from 2006 and new AI vehicles and articulated buses GU 240 and NG 235 as AI-buses for the adjacent articulated bus lines.
"Vienna 2 - line 23A" will be the second new add-on to the market. This includes the new route 23A in two variants: route to Kagran and redesigned Kagraner Platz from 2006 and some timeline features) . In addition this add-on includes the two articulated buses GU 240 and NG 235 of Wiener Linien. Both
buses built in cooperation with instructors of Wiener Linien with great attention to detail and animated features, with many
animations and realstic graphics. In this add-on there is also wide range of new and brilliant AI vehicles for road transport (new cars, motorcycles
, trains of ÖBB) and of course all normal buses from Vienna 1 as AI-buses for the adjacent lines.
How much work goes into it?
Meanwhile, there are again more than one and a half years of development behind us, since we had the release of the first add-on. Accordingly, many meetings, planning and very many hours design, configurations, sound design, artwork and tests even on many weekends. We put a lot effort into our products that they comes up to your satisfaction!
Is there an upgrade price?
Yes - for all owners of the former Vienna add-ons "Vienna - The high floor bus LU 200" there is a discounted upgrade price for "Vienna 1 line 24A". Both for download and for the boxed version! So you can enjoy the new bus generation and many new features, new route with new timetables for a small price too.

We intend to bring configurations and modifications of buses for OMSI on a new, comfortable and higher Level:
Online Configurator
We develop an all-new online configurator where everybody can configurate his personalized bus as you want it to. No registrationor disclosure of data - simple and convenient! Whether 2 or 3-door, gas tank or aircondition, mirrors Option 1, 2 or 3 - just select and download the finished bus roadworthy - without having to make adjustments itself in the config or scripts.
This project should be seen as a modular configuration system and a great bus generation for this will be the Lions City. Therefore, we will introduce this bus type as the first generation in this configurator and are distributed exclsusively through this. With appropriate support by buying our add-ons for the financing of the project cost, we will offer this as a free bus generation extra
content for all owners of the Vienna add-ons!
Last but not least, we want to open this configurator also available for private and non-commercial mods and will provide an account for each author. Thus, in the future more buses are available in different variations without the authors are asked questions such as "Can you also implement variant
XY?" and you don't have to take care of the many different bus versions - besides, it remains clear and you always have the current state! Of course, you are all invited to offer special parts for the Lions City itself and to modify our content. We will make
an appropriate SDK available to course with files, instructions and
information.

The release for both Vienna Add-Ons 1&2 are at the same time! The plan is for mid-summer 2015.
The configurator is going into a beta release in late summer 2015 for a selected group of authors and then in late autumn 2015 available for everyone. Make sure that this release plans can be considered to be changed.
